Hi here are pics. Yes, I am in Army stationed in
Stuttgart. I've been here 2 years this month. Where are you living? This
is my 3rd tour in Germany. First was Heidelberg which will close
completely in 2015, next Hanau, and now Stuttgart. I'm not that familiar with Pattonville so I took picture which I thought people might be interested in. In the fall of 1975 the Football team traveled to Stuttgart HS to play a nonconference game. Stuttgart had a very strong team. Our QB leg was broken and this ignited us to win decisively in second half after trailing in first. I don't recall QB's name my year book is in storage in Texas. Seeing the Football field being turned into a soccer field was kind of disheartening for that reason. The present HS on Patch barracks is half this schools size with close to same population. Since this is an enduring community they will build a new HS near Panzer in 2017. One word AFRICOM. I took a picture of where flag pole stood because it has been removed. However, many cars in the parking lot sport German flags- World Cup. I thought this was interesting. Pictures like the above may only have caught my attention so use was you think is best.
