The BHHS Theater Department is proud to

award-winning musical.
The show opens March 25th, with a 2PM matinee, and then
continues March 26th-28th, at 7:30 each night. Tickets
are $25 for VIP seating (first 8 rows center), $15 for
Adults, and $10 for Students. To order tickets send a
letter containing: Name, the number of tickets requested,
show nights, and ticket types, along with a check for the
correct amount. Address letter to:
Josh Butchart c/o BHHS,
241 Moreno Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90212.
"Ragtime" is based on the E.L. Doctorow novel of the
same name, and explores the ethnic, political, economic
and social struggles of the early 20th century. The show
follows the bubbling melting pot that was created when the
influx of immigrants into America, the newly enfranchised
African Americans, and the established upper-class white
society collided. Based around real American headlines,
personalities and events of the turn of the century,
“Ragtime” weaves a complicated set of storylines into a
complex American quilt, highlighting the struggles, fears,
biases and passions of the young country. The cast is
comprised of students of the Performing Arts Department,
and is highlighted by several seniors' final BHHS
production.
